They wree left to fend for themselves in a county where there is no animal shelter or humane society. If a rescue cannot be found to take in a stray, they have no choice but to put the animal to sleep. They reached out to us here at Phoenix Rising in pensacola and we took the boys in. And what amazing dogs they have turned out to be. Very loving and eager to learn. There is no local shelter or Animal Control so the community has set up a make shift kennel at a tiny airport where local inmates on work release care for the dogs. These two have turned out to be awesome dogs. They have been very well socialized and are very well behaved. The vets guess Starsky and hutch are about 1 year old.
